Bottle Cap Necklaces

I have been volunteering at the LGBT center in Long Beach and we have been shooting for a few months and this week we made bottle cap necklaces out of our images.

The American Asylum " Straitjacket "

When I thought of the idea to create a straitjacket out of the American flag, the concept was intended to propel my photography forward, it didn’t really occur to me that people would want to see the jacket in person or that the jacket would have its own artistic Identity outside of a photograph. Photographers create props all the time to give their images something unique. Nonetheless I’m excited to be welcomed into other areas of art and hope the jacket is well received.
