A Portrait of a Tree

Always looking for a new area to shoot we discovered these walking trails in Harbor City. But the time of day was all wrong and I didn’t have all my gear. It was a funny place we stumble upon pot smokers, cruisers and homeless people sleeping. There was plenty to photograph.

Operation

This image was created for a homework assignment that had to deal with Surrealism. I was trying to make a funny statement on healthcare using the popular kid’s game Operation.

My friends and I try to shoot weekly and we don’t always have models or other people to shoot, we try to channel our inner Cindy Sherman and create characters or different looks. This is Steven bathing in rose petals.

One of my favorite movies is Sin City By Frank Miller. This portrait was an inspired photo-shoot after re-watching the movie.
